What's the difference between a Vitamin Drip, Push, and Shot?

1–4 hours

Vitamin Drip

Electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, or antioxidants are given in a bag of fluid such as normal saline. Drip times take between 1-4 hours depending on the treatment.

15–20 minutes

Vitamin Push

Electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, or antioxidants are injected directly into your vein using a large syringe, there is no fluid infusion. This takes less time to infuse than a Vitamin drip. Most appointments take only 15-20 minutes.

5–15 minutes

Vitamin Shot

Intramuscular (IM) shots are injections of substances are injected directly into the muscle. These appointments are quick and typically only take 5-15 minutes.

01 How long does a vitamin shot appointment take?

A shot service can be completed in fewer than 15 minutes. Intramuscular injections are quick, so most appointments take only 5 to 15 minutes and do not require placement of an IV.

02 What is the difference between a shot, a push, and a drip?

A Vitamin Drip delivers electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, or antioxidants in a bag of fluid such as normal saline, with drip times between 1 and 4 hours. A Vitamin Push injects those nutrients directly into your vein with a large syringe and no fluid infusion, taking 15 to 20 minutes. A Vitamin Shot is an intramuscular injection into the muscle, taking 5 to 15 minutes.

03 How much do vitamin shots cost?

Single shots start at $25, with specialty and two-part formulas priced higher. Every shot has a reduced VIP-member rate, so a VIP Membership lowers the per-visit cost across shots, pushes, drips, and products.

04 How often should I get a shot?

It depends on the formula and your goals. Several formulas are recommended one to three times per week, others weekly or as needed, and shots are an ideal way to maintain nutrient balance between IV Drips or IV Pushes. Holly will recommend a rhythm during your consultation.

05 Do I need a consultation first?

Holly will review your goals and history before recommending a formula, and a free 15-minute clarity call is the easiest way to start. If you are already a client, shots can be added to an existing plan or booked on their own.
